Spring Racing Week 2026: After the Track on King St

Spring racing week starts on Saturday 31 October, with the Tuesday 3 November public holiday in the middle of it. It’s one of the busiest weeks of the year in the CBD, with people who’ve dressed up for the day and aren’t ready to call it early.

What’s On in Race Week

The Tuesday public holiday is the big one, but the whole week runs hot. The CBD fills up every afternoon as the trackside crowd heads back into the city, still dressed up and looking for somewhere to keep the night going.

After the Track

Once the last race is run, King Street is an easy walk from the city’s main stations. Grab a table, settle in and let the day roll into night. Our stage lineup runs late every night of race week, and function rooms are available for groups who want their own space.

But Don’t Just Come the One Night

Race week is once a year, but King Street isn’t. We’re open seven nights, every week of the year, with our showgirls on stage every night. Come back any night and see what King St is like when it’s just us.
